A Home Value Index report produced by Zillow was featured in a slideshow on CNBC's website. It showcased zipcodes across the nation in which price growth has increased substantially each year. Two Philadelphia zipcodes made the list and landed at numbers 2 and 3 on Hottest Zipcodes for Home Prices. Consequently, these are also two zipcodes serviced by Rentwell.

What is Carbon Monoxide? Carbon monoxide is a highly toxic invisible gas. It is the product of incomplete burning of wood and fossil fuels, such as home heating fuel oil and natural gas. Major sources of CO in homes are from fuel burning heaters, water heaters, fireplaces, wood burning stoves, gas clothing dryers and a vehicle running in a closed garage. As these appliances age or are not well maintained, CO can begin to build up. Carbon Monoxide is very dangerous because it is a colorless, odorless, tasteless and non-irritating gas. Inhaling carbon monoxide is harmful and can be fatal.

A Credit.com survey revealed that most respondents (27.9%) said the American Dream is retiring financially secure at age 65. In second place, 23% described the American Dream as being debt-free. Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs are home to a number of well-established universities filled with students who likely need some form of housing. While many schools offer guaranteed housing every year, others do not. In these cases, young college students with little income are heading to Craigslist to search for affordable housing options.

While much of Pennsylvania seems to be losing ground in terms of job growth, Delaware County proves to be resilient according to an economic recovery report.  The report, titled "State of Working Pennsylvania 2013," was released earlier this month by Harrisburg-based think tank Keystone Research Center. The report focuses on employment statistics from December 2010 through July 2013, zeroing in on job statistics beginning 18 months after the end of the Great Recession.
